Robotic Competitions
We love entering our advanced learners into robotic competitions to test their skills, and hone new ones.
In August 2019, 10 teams from different schools competed against each other at UCT Engineering Department to see which team's robot had solved the challenge best. The teams each had a mentor who was be there to guide them in the right direction but the children had to solve the problems themselves.

WHAT THE CHILDREN WILL GAIN:
Learn how to investigate and research problems they can't immediately solve
Learn skills of working in a team, allocating responsibilities
Test their skills against other learners
PRE-REQUISITES
Child must be at least 11 years old or currently in Grade 6 or 7
Completed Level 4 Arduino Robotics
